Ranch kitchen south of Route Nine, and the range sits where a plain old stove used to be. It kept losing the flame whenever we turned it right down. He adjusted the low fire screws and swapped one worn valve, and it holds a simmer under a sauce now.

Right rear burner would not light and I had been living with it since spring. The igniter had corroded where a pot boiled over. He replaced it, cleaned the whole rail and set the simmer properly.

The front of the top got hot enough around the knob bezels to be uncomfortable to touch. Insulation behind the panel had slumped. He repacked it and replaced a bezel that had already distorted.
